Discussion Forum Rules
Section titled “Discussion Forum Rules”Follow the rules given below for a smooth experience in the discussion forum.
- Thoroughly read the provided documents. These have been carefully curated by the theme developers specifically for your theme, so please respect their effort and refrain from posting queries until you’ve reviewed the materials in detail.
- Search the internet first — before posting any query, make use of the most powerful tool at your disposal: the Internet!
- Search existing posts to ensure your query hasn’t already been answered. This will save both your time and the instructor’s time.
- Be clear and concise, and use appropriate language when posting your queries.
- Capture screenshots properly — avoid using a phone camera to take screenshots.
- Describe errors in detail, including relevant screenshots of the error, when inquiring about it.
- Include your team ID in every query for prompt resolution. Queries without a team ID will not be addressed.
- Don’t leave submissions until the last day — this may cause server overload. Plan ahead and complete your tasks in a timely manner.
- Don’t share anything related to the theme — tasks, resources, code, images, etc. — as it is e-Yantra’s (IIT Bombay) Intellectual Property.
Keep your repositories private to avoid misuse or sharing.
